Day 80

We are continuing to look at Principle 4: The source of peace is found in the words of Jesus. As a born again child of God, you are still in the world physically, but you are not of the system of the world. That is, you do not operate or live your life according to the theories and practices of the world, e.g. "You are number 1, look out for number 1, there is no such thing as a free lunch, if it sounds to good to be true it probably is, etc."

We live our lives according to the Words of God. The Bible tells us that we are to make God number 1 and not ourselves. It tells us to love others as Jesus loved us. It tells us that salvation (which is certainly the best thing) is free and paid for by the blood of Jesus. The Bible tells us to spread the "Gospel" which means "good news."

We are charged by the Scriptures to meditate in the Word of God to have good success. Yes, we are still in the world where the trouble is, but you don't have to be troubled by trouble, because Jesus overcame the world system (see Matthew 4:8-11) with the written Word of God. And you have the exact same Word of God at your disposal. Now get into the Word and be an over comer today!
