Day 5
Have you ever walked into a room where people had been arguing? The harsh words still filled the atmosphere of the room. The words had a lingering presence. Ever heard the expression: "the tension in the room was so thick that you could cut it with a knife"? Your words create an atmosphere around you. What type of atmosphere are your words creating around you?
Can your words really create a presense? The Bible answer is "yes." In Luke 5:17, Jesus is teaching (using His mouth to speak words) and "the power of the Lord was present to heal them." Jesus words created an environment for healing.
If you are being faithful to speak the confessions daily, the atmosphere around you is changing into a place of healing. You may not sense it; but that is not important. We are not to be moved by what we sense; instead we are to be moved by our belief in the Word of God.
Speak your confessions today KNOWING that you are creating an atmosphere of God's Word around you. Are the blessings of God becoming so thick around you that you can cut them with a knife? Wait until Day 8 and you will learn about the "blessing."
