Shield Daily Devotional

Day 4

You are at the mid point of your first week speaking Bible confessions. To confess means "to say the same thing as." If someone confesses to something in court, they are saying that the charges are true and that they are in agreement with them. When we confess the Word of God, then we are saying that what He says about something or someone is true.

Do you know what He says about you? He says that you are more than a conqueror (I John 4:4); you are are victorious (2 Corinthians 2:14); and nothing is impossible to you if you have faith (Mark 9:23). He says a lot more about you than these, but you should get the idea that God looks very favorably upon His kids. Think about your Friend in High Places today and what He says about you; then confess you agree with Him!

Pray this prayer today and confess His Goodness in your life:

"You are able to make all grace˜every favor and earthly blessing˜come to me in abundance, so that I am always, and in all circumstances, furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation."
