Day 118

As we saw yesterday, God sees you (Genesis 16:13). No matter what you do or where you are at, He sees you. If you need healing He sees you. If you need a financial miracle He sees you. If you need deliverance from an addiction He sees you. If you need healing in a relationship He sees you. If you need the answer to a prayer He sees you. These thoughts should comfort us because they are true. God is everywhere and sees everything.

God also is a close observer of your thoughts. He sees them as plainly as you see the sun on a bright day. He hears them as clearly as you hear a loud crack of thunder during a storm. I Chronicles 28: p says in part: " for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever." Not only does God know your thoughts, the Word says He understands them. He knows when you intended good but it ended bad. Again, this is great comfort for those who have sought to follow the Lord.

Our great God is also the observer and analyzer of every feeling that arises in your heart or plays upon the members of your body. I Corinthians 4: 5 says: "Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God." Everything that is hidden when one day become known. God will have the final say.

This is a source of great consolation to someone struggling to see the fairness of life. Things may seem like the bad is winning over the good; but they are not. God will in His time bring everything to light and He will prevail and so will His people. Let us rejoice today that God sees our every move, thought and feeling and know that the end of evil shall soon be manifest. Our God is all powerful, all knowing and all present. Give Him thanks today for His keeping an eye on you.
