Day 76

It is easier to meditate on the Word when your heart is fixed or established. Scriptures tell us: 2 Chronicles 12:14 "And he did evil, because he prepared not his heart to seek the LORD." {prepared: or, fixed} Psalm 57:7 " My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise." {fixed: or, prepared} Psalm 112:7 "He shall not be afraid of evil tidings (this means bad news): his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD."

From these passages, we see that a heart that is fixed on God will not do evil, will praise the Lord, and not fear bad news (this would eliminate worry wouldn't it?). Do you have a problem with sin? Is your life characterized by a lack of heartfelt praise for God? Do you constantly worry? If any of these answers is yes, then today you have been given a key to unlock these difficulties from your life and send them packing!

How do you fix your heart? You already know how. You fix your heart by meditating on the Word. Read Joshua 1:8 again today. Make it your confession and prayer today. Spend all day with Joshua 1:8. You will find sin departing, praise coming and worry will be non-existent. Happy dwelling!
