Day 35

God always hears your words. Sometimes we forget that there is present at every conversation a silent listener; He hears every word and nothing escapes His attention. We would do well to remember that we are never alone and every word is being recorded.

The good news is that you can repent for harsh destructive words you have spoken and God because of the blood of Jesus is quick to forgive and forget! Today, we look at the positive side of God being at every conversation. In John 11, Jesus has gone to the grave of Lazarus. Lazarus has been dead four days. In verse 41, Jesus said "Father, I thank you that You always hear me...." But wait, Jesus had not said anything about healing Lazarus; what had the Father heard? The answer is found earlier in verse 4: "This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God...."

Jesus had made His faith confession earlier, the Father had heard those words of faith and now the healing was to be manifested. Jesus said, "Lazarus, come forth" and he did. The healing was brought about through a faith confession and then the corresponding actions of Jesus to bring about the desired results. Don't kid yourself, there were some in the crowd that must have thought that Jesus had lost His mind. If you walk this walk of faith, there will be some in your crowd that think the same about you. Be like Jesus and talk to the Father in faith and don't worry about the crowd.
